 I keep them at:

25 rats
10 weasels
40 stoats
25 skiffs

I would still get weasels if I were you. They help with defensive points, and you can still get attacked by them too, if you don't have enough.

 Yeah, I know, every now an then I switch 5% of my skiffs to weasels, but mostly, I get weasels by hiring them, they're cheap enough...

skiffs 30%

and what do you do in those 20 turns?

 he probably loots or attacks or whatever everyone does with their turns, but then every 20 or so turns he goes and changes his percentages...

 That's what I would do too, either that or construct if I have unused land.....

 I usually just say what the hell and put 100 for onething for like 20 turns then get them in the high numbers and then I do the same with the rest ......................it's easy I really like this because ...............................................................I never really thought about why Ilike it  Ohhhhh and for Holby doing that whole Yiss thing thats what the watervole in Marlfox does :P  :P

 Hmmm....it's best to balance in the following way: get more stoats than rats in a turn, but not by much, and get an equal amount of weasels and skiffs in a turn...

 But don't skip on the weasels, because there's always someone massing them. Don't mass rats.

On this 20 turns each thing, I don't like it. In those 20 turns if you build barracks, you'll get more troops per turn than the last lot of 20. That doesn't even your troops out...
