it doesn't allow "com" either... i can't imagine how thats a swear word. i mean, sure its one letter different from a dirty word, but how on the earth do you give someone your e mail addy?

Yeah, that thing has serious issues, because I can do this: "f(a)rt" with a swear word and it gets through.

the filter is just kinda protective..  yes..  prehaps thats a good word..

Just be happy it tells you what you can not send so you can fix it. I hate those sites that change the word in PMs or simply sends you mail that your mail will not be sent. Then you have to re-write the whole thingy.

Yes some of it may seem a bit much. But it sure keeps my work down only looking for people trying to get around the filters.
