 what a silly question, if only 600 people would die, the goverment wouldn't care about it and not make a cure
I'm so tired of being lost in a world,
Where no one can find me.
I want to break free of the cage,
That has been enclosing me for too long.
I know that I am alone and no one will save me,
So I am to escape for myself.
I wander down a path,
That will go on for eternity.
I shall never reach the end,
I am trapped no matter where I go.
Though I finally manage to reach the end,
I must fight the monster inside of me to pass.
It is filled with so much anger, hate, and despair,
The only antidote is love, courage, and hope.
The three things I do not have,
And never will.
It is there that I give up,
I have nothing left but myself.
So I lay down forever,
Never going to get up again...as I fade away from all existence.

 I don't know about that, look at sars and how big a "crisis" it was and anthrax, more people die from lighting strikes each year than people who died from sars. I voted for plan B. If it was 60mil people though I'd prolly vote for A.

 The goverment would care because if the public relized that there not doing any thing to save 600 lives the public would go on strike!!! BIG TIME because it could spread!!!

 This thing is apparently saying that it wouldn't spread to more than possibly 1,200 people.

Then again, look at Anthrax and/or West Nile.
Since the media is built around the idea of keeping the American populace scared and combative, if the media latches onto something like this (which it would) then the government will pay attention. Otherwise, the government doesn't care a bit.

AIDS kills a lot of people... where's the massive campaigns for safe sex?
Nope... they're just anti-drug in Washington... the heroin trade is cutting in on the export/inport taxes they could have had.
