Curse of the Guard

 For all those of you who don't know, the Curse of the Guard was the fact that not much after Raine's joining a clan, the clan was decimated, while he himself remaineds unscathed. So far this is true.
Raine has never been out of the top 10 since he got into it shortly after his arrival. Generally, he hovers around the top 6. He's joined countless clans, and they have all been decimated in wars, yet he always remained in his position. I don't recall the exact list - ask Raine. But the latest one, Alliance, has also been decimated. It only has 3 remaining members. You know that Kilk practically died. Nevadacow is rank 17, not good. And Raine himself, is, again, unscathed. Let us now hope that he joins Tarsonis' clan, or something, so it goes down. :D
