 I love most of the authors up there, I wouldn't be able to choose just one. Has anyone here...um...enjoyed Hemingway's books? Our English class had to read A Farewell to Arms, and no one really enjoyed it much....

 I'm a Douglas Adams fan, myself.  I guess him and Peirs Anthony are my favorites.

 I voted Brian Jacques.I like practically all of them.

 Lemony Snicket is awesome.  I love his style of writing.  Though Brian Jacques is really good too.

I consider myself a bit of a classic movie fan, so have viewed the film version of A Farewell To Arms starring Gary Cooper. Just checked, 1932. Figured it was either 30's or 40's.
My opinion of it: I fell asleep while it was playing first time through, does that give a good idea?

 What?  They don't have Robert Jordan?!?  Ok, so I've only finished his first book but it was 800 pages!  Err...I'd have to say a tie between Robert Jordan and Brian Jacques.

 Online...I like Mitya Shostak, (SP?) and Retto. IRL, I like.....Hummm...Hmm...Well....Edger Allen Poe. No, Just kididing. Good poet, but I prefer...I don't know. Alot. Addicted to reading.
