These games are old, and most already have a sequal, so it doesn't really matter anymore.

Except for SSBM. It could still win easily. :D

According to Nintendo Power, it's been a top 10 seller for Gamecube since it came out. You'd think everyone would have it by now, and the sales would drop. XD

Bah. Gamecube has exactly two redeeming games. And the controllers are horrible. Those to games are Soul Caliber and Super Smash Bros. Though SSB is a little cartoony for me. If you want sissy kiddy games, sure go with GCN, otherwise PS2 is where its at. It and Xbox are the only real competitors for best system. GCN is a distant third at best. Oh wait no, fourth, Dreamcast owns GCN too. PS2 owns. Its got the games, its got the best controllers, and its got the graphics and sound to rival any system.

Controllers PWN Xbox and PS2. PS2 is the worst of the three, GCN and XBox tied for first depending on preferences. Splinter Cell and Metal Gear Solid are sissy games? GCN has better graphics than PS2, and runs smoother, controllers are better, AND it's coming out w/ Resident Evil 4, which will pwn all shooters but Halo.

One, all the games you mentioned are original Playstation games. So that just falls flat. Everything else you said comparing the two... UM WRONG. PS2 graphics are better, it runs WAY smoother, and the controllers SUCK. Res. Evil 4 is a PS2 GAME!

*points at PS2* UMmmmm....noooo PS2 defiantely has sucky graphics, if nebody's graphics beats nebody's its defiantely Xbox.

XBox:
Bulky controllers
Too many buttons, my god I've not seen so many buttons on a controller..
Usable for other data storage such as pictures, movies, music, etc. updatable x-chip

Playstation:
Weird shape, not been updated since the release of Playstation 1
Slow loading time

Gamecube:
Comfortable controllers
too small for dvd-rom
games aren't that good, but some are

DREAMCAST:
IS NO LONGER IN THE COMPETITION AS ITS NO LONGER MANUFACTURED!!!!

My fav game for GC is a tie between SSBM, Soul Calibur II, and NCAA Football 2005.

I'm saying that GCN has good shooters, as does PS2... And your information is wrong. Quote actual people, and I'll believe that GCN has less power. Post actual screenshots, and I'll believe PS2 has better graphics. You just said PS2 controllers suck... MGS: The Twin Snakes was a PS2 game? And also, how can you say that any game for PS2, XBox, and GCN is a "Playstation game, originally"? Fact is, there are too many Sony fanboys waltzing around deluding themselves that the console they bought opening day for $250 is better... Wait until PS3, THEN you can brag.
