I have a little over 2,000,000. But I contantly use it up. I gain 8,000 loyalty a turn, though.

That sounds like more than enough. :) The biggest amount of barracks I've ever had is about 3000- not vey high, and that was before the expansion.
The most guards I've ever had is about 8 thousand :)
I love guards B)

I've never been in the top 10, apart from when I was up there for a day (max) at rank 9.

Most for me is 8,000. Most barracks 10,000 I think.

10000 barracks :) If you had 25% of each troop type, every turn, that would be about the rats you got B) Rats are the best :)

I used to have 25% rats but I made WAY to many per turn. Pah, attack me if you want.
