Hi new player wouldn't mind if anyone shot me a few pointers. Trying to get the hang of what race too be. Not sure what the advantage of mossower is...

Welcome to RWL!

For new players, race and location aren't so important, but lizard is a decent one to start learning. Probably easiest is to play an economic game, where you build mostly markets and foragers, set your tax rate to 42%, and get lots of cash and food. You can also build some barracks to generate armies, or use your resources to buy them on the market.
