Canker sores on tongue

How do you deal with them?

Wait for them to heal

I was having a discussion about this, and these are the three ways I've heard of getting rid of them.

I pull them off with my fingernails, or bite them off, which probably isn't great but it's better than having a sore tongue. Are there any other ways?

The obvious option is cutting it off, preferably with an extremely sharp blade.

Just drink some antifreeze.
