I don't think that "ratios" are a complicated concept. But the other day in class the professor needed to explain them. This is to a group of university students... Perhaps my understanding of ratio's is because of the oh-so-crucial leader/land ratio in RWL? Maybe that's why it is so obvious to me?

here's the video from class: http://olivercrosby.com/temp/Ratios.mp4

Lol. Very amusing.

But you could probably say the ratios in RWL are very beneficial and useful as a supplement.

Tell everyone in your class to join RWL to get a better conceptual understanding of ratios.  :)

What was with the yell at the end of the video, btw?
I love bad [berries] that's my [fruity] problem

Blackboards and chalk? Are you going to university last century?

Haha, I have terrible mathematics skills and I definitely think playing RWL has improved them. I still use a calculator for everything though.

This prof is great, he's always yelling about things. Way over excited. He's a millionaire who teaches for fun, how cool is that?

And yes, Carleton University is not state-of-the-art. In fact, the video quality I have uploaded is what they give it to me as... You'd think with 600 people paying $50 on top of the course feed they could buy an HD camera or two...
