is this a bug?

In their defense, The Instigator lost:

I did a standard attack and I lost every thing I had, I didint have much of an army but still.
So is that a bug or did he just have a massive army?

He had a massive army. Did you attack with low health?

you lose lots if the defender has a significantly larger army, and if you are at low health. If you lost all you had, I would guess a combination of the two.

I just do one to see if they have a weakness.

Somewhat of a strategy, but it doesn't work with low health as you will lose a massive number.
