Ad blocker

As me and shadow discussed a little bit about ad blocker in the other topic in polling, I thought it'd be interesting to see how many people on RWL use ad blocker and what reasons you have for using one too

I'll start by saying I don't use one, I'll post a reason later (I can't be bothered now, it'll probably end up quite long too)

It depends which one of my computers I'm using.  :P  Laptop: no   PC: Yes.  Because the PC is REALLY slow when there are ads.

Yes. 
Because on my netbook if I have enough flash ads open in tabs the thing grinds to a halt, its got a fairly wimpy single core Atom.  Also, netbook is my only computer running Windows (XP) and its extremely prone to infection via malicious ads  (tpb is/was incredibly bad for this).  Adblock Pro and the problem is gone.
On my mac, meh. 

I do get the need for websites to support themselves off ad revenue, but the majority of them seem to use massive irritating, flashing Flash ads.  I don't put up with those.  Friendly sites I have been known to whitelist.
Adblock Pro takes 15 seconds to setup on Firefox, so its always worth it for me.

I hadnt even heard of ad blocker, so I dont have one. Honestly, I dont mind ads.
