Wolf is the only real way to go in reg, unless you're part of an emp team. Stoat is usable in turbo with 100+ turns, but you can't spare the turns in reg. Marten's weak leader defence and rarity means they're a huge target for sacks+poisons/steals. Wolves have an easy, sustainable source of networth and the best defence.

Tbh, reg needs to be more fast-paced. Of course, still slower then turbo, but it'd encourage more diversity. I've just sat on 77k land for a day and used up my loyalty because I haven't had to worry about attacks.

I'm currently in top position by a huge margin BUT I'm intentionally dropping down to the bottom.

Can I also say that it would be great if REG had 550 turns like Turbo, I can definitely see what Firetooth means here, sometimes after scraping land, building gaining enough loyalty etc. I find I sometimes only have about 50-100 turns to produce in . . .

Shadow

I could get behind 550 turns on reg, with the same turn rate.

I believe that the whole 1 turn every 10 minutes has always been slow. I don't know how we used to do it. I only check on my regular account once every 3 or 4 days. (and as you can see I still haven't used a single turn). I feel like even 5 turns every 20 minutes would make the game faster paced, and more enjoyable. Thats just my 2 cents though.

I agree. The point of reg is to be a more slow and calm experience, requiring less action then turbo, at least from what I can tell, but it's just too slow atm. Unless somebody is trying to emp, or there is a war, nearly nothing happens.

Briar

Hehe....go me and my martenness.

You could hurt wolves by making a spell that would steal just their food. At this point, the only way to destroy it is by sacking or poisoning.
At the risk of ruining Briar's career by disparaging her find of the famous Sackaleaderer horse...

I think this would be a nice feature, but steal is probably the hardest spell to do, and usually that's when used on a marten. Considering Wolves have a much higher leader bonus, it'd be very difficult to actually practically use that spell, especially on reg. Also consider how many wolves stay un clanned.

Briar

That is kind of my point. There is a spell to take from Martens but not really one that takes from Wolves.
