At the risk of ruining Briar's career by disparaging her find of the famous Sackaleaderer horse...

Yes. I wear high heels Krowdon. Any tips on how I should do my hair?

Holby

What is the point of this poll? I like sacking other players. I don't like being sacked from.

I thought this was going to be about whether people think sacking is overpowered?  :(
I will not deleted this

Briar

That topic already exists.

The point of this poll is to bring to light that it is a perfectly legit action in the game.  Or at least that is my opinion.

Alazar is Back

What Holby said. I like to sack, but not be sacked.
Turbo Highest Rank:Co-Emperor with Wolf Snare, Emperor

One of the most underrated players at RWL..

Firetooth

I like being sacked. It puts things into perspective...actually I don't. I lost about 50bil +cash last round due to sacking...and a fair amount of food.

I'm currently in top position by a huge margin BUT I'm intentionally dropping down to the bottom.

Sharptooh

Sacking is annoying, I try to sack myself, I prefer to avoid making enemies.

It's a perfectly legit action though, especially if someone's shields are down and their defences are pretty bad.

Genevieve

Stupid poll. I don't mind the idea of sack, but it's overpowered.
I would have finished a lot better last round without it, lost about 500bil cash to sacks.

Have to agree. Plus like I said before, it doesn't give Indies an advantage really, it gives leaders yet another advantage.
Now I would like to see a poll about if sacking is overpowered.

Gorak

sack is not overpowered
it's the only attack indies have that can actually hurt a Leaderer.
Leaders can murder indies into the ground and steal all their resources, crippling them at will, all the while the indy has no chance of defending., yet I don't see threads devoted to Murder and Steal being overpowered.

alls a good leaderer has to do to defend against sacks is to buy up troops, period.

this is just another example of someone having a hard time doing good, and so blaming it on the game and demanding a code change to make the game better suite their style of play so they can finnish better, rather then just getting better at the game itself.

Victory without honour, is more shameful then defeat.

Shadow

hear hear

however, leader players are using it pretty extensively, and since sack doesn't take much land it doesn't much affect their ratio. So that is a minor problem. If anyone has suggestions for solutions, I am all ears.

my opinion is that sack should be regarded as an Indy friendly version of steal, used to steal resources rather then actually do serious harm to the player.

basically balance things out by
Leader can steal, using leaders and ratio, Indies can sack using troops power
Leader can murder, Indy can Standard

a further suggestion for balance, would be that murder also kills leaders, on the other hand, capture is pretty much usless to an indy to try and harm a leaders ratio. I suggest making Standards also use leaders for casualties.

...

on second thought, that sounds way to overpowered.
I dunno, mabey something along those lines might work

Steal is kind of meant to do serious harm in alot of cases.
Also, I'm not complaining. It didn't really affect my end finish, and I wouldn't have won if it was taken out, but I'm saying it's not as good as people say. It's just another way of leaders getting another adantage, so don't jump down my throat about supposed whining next time I make a comment.
I do however agree sack is underpowered from a certain point of view (namely indy). Indy needs reworking into a more useful strat, other then one that's only good in a team unless you're experienced. Plus when was the last time somebody saw an indy win in a round with leaders? They just can't sustain themselves permeneantly after a certain point, and don't have the leader defences required without alot of land.

Also I like the suggestion that steal is replaced by sack for indiers, but then that would force leaderers to get troops to defend their resources. I still think it's a good idea though.

Yes, capture is another feature nigh-useless for an indy.

that's kinda the point
if you try to sit on a massive amount of food and cash
defend it, or lose it, 'cause it's not safe to put all your eggs in one basket
Victory without honour, is more shameful then defeat.

Firetooth

I know, I was more referring to the average leaderer's reaction.
But then again, that may get rid of the point of food massing for net, unless to sell the food on.

Sacking is fun, as other people say, as long as you're sacking, not being sacked. I sacked a couple billion cash one round, and then got sacked 1bil food...
