Well, after some colourful responses, and testing myself, we've concluded that the word filter no longer exists.

Another outstanding bug I've noticed is that there is no longer 3x NW aid limit for unclanned empires.

It frightens me that these things just occur out of the blue; what else has gone squirrelly?

It's not working again? [darn]. Mind sharing some of these... colorful... messages? You've got my email. Oh and if memory serves the unclanned aid limit thing happened almost a year ago as well.

Oh, we have some odd glitches here and there

But atleast one of the two was intentional.

The word filter was quietly taken out because it was determined that it would be a pain in the rear to fix all the various issues with it. It hasn't been in the game for ... years.

I'm not -entirely- sure about the aid limit to unclanned folks, but I suspect it was intentional.

there's no way that it was intentional to be able to aid someone over 10x your NW when not clanned.

all I've noticed is that we can say .com now. I figured the filter was changed to allow such a word instead of thinking that we're saying it with a u. which I always thought was the most ridiculous thing in the game

I don't remember ever intentionally removing the 3X thing. It's a mystery to me how it happened. It has been in the game since the dawn of time.
