When an account goes on vacation by itself, is the owner locked out for 72 hours or could they revive it immediately?

Its not even a revive, you just login and it kicks you out of vacation. 

I'm kinda torn on it.  I'm the sort to just forget to run and its an awesome catch
But I can see how its abusable. 
A Goldfish has an attention span of 3 seconds...  so do I

Not really cause you have to wait for 7 days without taking a turn for it to happen.
Watching people fight is fun...
...but getting involved is so much better
