 I don't like it... think its kind of rude.
As a newb... this game takes some time to understand. So when I am trying to run my turns and someone is attacking me, it screws me up.
And I don't see how hard it is to wait a couple mins for the person to be done.
But then again... I'm a whiner.  

Volkov, do you know the exact day of Beethoven's birthday, for sure? Do you know what day Aristotle was born on, exactly? Even what season? The fact is, it is a celebration of Christ's birthday, and so you guys waltz in and say "Hey! I want presents too! And hey! everything's on sale during the Christian holiday! We'll just steal it!" The Catholic Church at least had a decent reason for celebrating Christmas when they did. You know, I find that I'm far more accepting than some other people. I saw a topic on another board entitled, "Happy Winter Solstice, You Pagan (donkey)holes!"

 I'm new to this whole game... but I don't like online attacking.  
I really don't know all the different stratagies... or what each option does. So my way to learn is look at what I have, take a turn, and see what the outcomes is. But having someone attacking you while you are trying to figure things out makes it difficult. I don't always realise that the attack has happened so I think that what I did made me loose troops and land.
I don't see whats so hard about waiting till a person is done their turns.  But thats just my opinion as a newb... so it really means nothing, lol.

Can you attack someone online... I have no idea if there are any rules to this or not. All I know is that I am in 11th and i don't know how I got there. :D

I honestly didn't know that. I thought it was made up by the card companies to make more money. Hmmm... have to remember that to tell my son when he is older.

its actually kind of reassuring to know that most of us are 15-20, since my friends are still makin fun of me for playing this game still. a lot of my nerdy friends played in the first era, then stopped 'cause they're clearly not as cool as me, so they're like "you still play that game? whats wrong with you?" and so then i say "take that back or i'll stop pretending to like you" and then they stop  :D

Thats the funniest thing I have ever heard.
