Polling / Meat or no meat?
December 29, 2004, 02:44:01 PM
You know, for every pound of beef a cow produces it takes 16 pounds of grain?
I could have that wrong, I'll look it up.

*chuckles and corrects Peacey's spelling* Unrealistic, sah.

I was Winter. Bah, I got frustrated and pretty much gave up after the first day, though I was doing rather well for a while.
Fwoo, back to VI. See ya next Commanders.

Hehe, okay. 'twould be pretty stupid and pointless to try to argue with you.
I'll just say one thing though. I don't have a narrow mind. Methinks it would be kind of hard to judge me by a couple of posts.
The whole human race is ignorant.
So yes, I'm quite so.

Why do you constantly have to reassure yourself that you are better than us? I don't care if you're better than me, really. I've got a good life, and being able to score insane amounts of net on an online game doesn't mean all that much to me.

He's accusing you because, to my knowledge, that amount of net has never been achieved on the game before. That is a very good reason for suspicion.
If you really did do it, I'd think you'd be a little less harsh about it.
More like "Guys, this is awesome, look at my net" or whatever.

Quoteaqualis: it does prove however your lack of reading comprehension
Tell me if I'm wrong but are you saying:
Saying that I can do that without cheating is not proof that I haven't been cheating, it is, however, proof of your lack of reading comprehension.

*raises eyebrow* Right...

Quote1. i hate to break it to you but i am not the one making baseless and opinionated accusations (that double as personal attacks) and clearly evading the presentation of evidence

Who is then?
Yup... sure sounds like you just "hate to break it to me".

Baseless? Not quite. What I said seems to be exactly the format this debate/argument has been following, from what I've seen, and its the one that hasn't gotten anyone anywhere in all its years of existence.
Opinionated accusations? What did I accuse you of?
Opinions are all over the place though, if you'll notice. Life would just be kinda dull without them, eh?
Personal attacks? Would never dream of it. Don't like those sort of things, m'self.
Evidence? Guess I figured you could find some for yourself. What was I supposed to prove anyway?

Quotethese of which you clearly were not intelligent enough to educate yourselves on before posting that mess of bs
Thank you for informing me that I'm so horribly below your level and that all I post is "bs" as you call it. I never would've come to that conclusion on my own. Thanks.

Quotethus your ignorant comments/thoughts are worth as much as a bag of herpes infected toad droppings
Two kinds of feces? Wow, I'm scoring high today.

Quotethen how about instead of making your newb/ignorant remarks
and killing the brain cells of the poor victims having to read your posts you:

That just makes me laugh.
Everyone's a newb though. It's obviously a bug anyway (or so I think), so why don't we do something about it instead of the old:
"Nuhuh!"
"Yeahuh!"
"No way!
"Yes way! Shut up! You know I'm better than you!"
"What? You are so not better than me. And you DIDN'T!"
"DID SO"

Those get us nowhere.

General Discussion / Vulpine Imperium

It seems that I said that in the wrong sort of way.
By "you do your job" I did not mean you but rather the whole of VI. I'm not even sure of who you are on VI, I guess I got the wrong message across.

Can you tell me about the promblems you've had in the game? I'd like to help if I can.

IronPaw is in charge of the contracts by the way, if it wasn't verified perhaps it wasn't something he wanted verified.

Do you really know Ironpaw Out of Character? He's a pretty nice guy, contrary to common belief, a good friend.
I'm not sure what you think is at risk, could you explain?

Sorry, I'm not trying to pick a fight either, Internet just doesn't carry tone or feeling.

You don't really need the Admins if you do your job.

If you're talking about IronPaw being mad with power and doing evil stuffs, he's supposed to. He's the Minister of Misanthrope. He's supposed to hate you.

Besides, what's a place without its good amount of evil?

General Discussion / Vulpine Imperium

Haven't you ever felt that longing for adventure? That tingling sensation in your mind as you contemplate all the thousands upon thousands of possibilities? Ever felt that urge, when you look out across the sea, to jump on an overly large piece of driftwood and wave sharp pointy things in other peoples faces?
Of course you have!

Imagine, folks. In this life we'll never be able to be vermin pirates. In this life that's just not a possibility. The days of corsairs and privateers are over...
But you can live it on VI. At least, through your character's eyes.

Don't you whine on about "I'm too old to play imaginary."
Since when? Can you go a day without playing it? I could say a few other things about "Non-Imaginary" people being the downfall of the world, but I won't.

Also, I would appreciate if anyone who tells me "vi suckeths" would provide support for that statement.

Below I have included an outline of VI done by Saturn S. Songlore.

You all like redwall, yes? Well, the Vulpine Imperium is a redwall based Imperium, with vermin as characters. You can be as ruthless as you want, or be, strangely, a nice vermin.

There are many new advantages in the Imperium:

1) Contracts enable you to..
a) change your name
switch ships with more ease.
c) request a marriage to another beast in the imperium, and in your profile it will list them as your significant other.
d) write your own contract, such as a petition against another beast or corporation and let other beast sign it.
2) Corporations
a) chairbeast is elected by shares which can be bought on the public market.
corporation bonds(interest is nice)
c) separate boards for each corporation, and people with shares in that corporation.
3) the board system
a) In character board.
Out of character board.
c) Advertisement section
d) Red Herring(for officers ranking first mate and above)
e) ship's mess, separate on each of the four ships.
ship's available on the Imperium:

1) Markan's Glory
2) Black Ship
3) Skeered of nothing
4) Golden Hide

f) for a week, the ships will be in port, so the in character boards will be visible(that includes the other land things, such as advertisements and the bank) Then when everyone's out to sea, people will still see the out of character board and their ship's mess.
4) Activities
a) Casino
At port activities (ways to make money)/at sea activities (again same idea, money)
c) dueling.
d) hobbies, (write books to be sold, make bottled boats, carvings, soon to come are weaving and other things I again dont' remember)
5) Submissions
a) you can submit artwork related to the vi, or redwall in general.l
you can submit rhymed poetry
c) stories can be submitted
d) you get money for everything you submit, and then when it's graded you get more.

6) Popular locations
a) the smelt (where deaths, news and many other things like that happen.)
Prominent citizens(richest citizens of the imperium are listed)
c) public bunks (lists the ships, their location, information on them, and you can view the crewbeast on each, as well as those on land and the graveyard.
d) Ship's cabin(where the officers of the ship's are listed and where the results of raids are put..
e) information (about contracts out there, unique metalworks, corporations existing, items and many other things I dont' remember)
f) entry gallery(where you can view the submitted artwork, poetry, riddles(forgot about them) and stories.
7) Management
a) journal (write whatever you want on paper sold at stores
inventory (what you have on you.)
c) equip/wear(dueling materials, such as lucky earring)
d) infirmary (for those times when one gets sick from inactivity(don't worry you can't die)
e) Upgrade rank(on your ship, or you can join a ship from there.)
f) the court house (where those contracts are located.)
8) Business
a) New occupation (where you can also upgrade rank, make a store, decide to farm, etc.
Portfolio(to manage your stocks in companies)
c) bank(interest you get from money stashed away
d) Public market(where things are sold by other characters and not stores.
e) auction block (bid for things)
f) send gilders
9) Your account
a) change password(once you get the initial one to log on the first time..change it to something you'll remember.
change user information(where you can add that spiffy profile of your character. and change your sig, as well as put yourself in vacation mode if need be.
c) delete account, (where it all ends..sadly)
10) In your bunk:
a) your strongbox(where you can view how much you got for your submitted works.
see a bunch of other things such as recent activities, and your investments and such.

That's about all I could think of putting..Ask any questions you want..I shall try to answer them.
