Strategy / A strategey that is plain stupid
November 15, 2003, 04:44:41 PM
 I think it is comical when these people attack so futilley (sp I presume). It seems like they are not thinking when they do it. Twice I've had people lose land to me by attacking me...It's quite shameful, really.

Yes. Nero is a bit on the "insane" side, Checkerpaw, so he likes to refer to himself in the third person.

 Your sympathy is not necessary to my development, General Volkov.

 Volkov -

We did not try to KILL you.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Constantine will dole out retaliation for these strikes as he sees fit for crimes against the Empire. This will not go un-paid for.
Polling / Best clan?
 You people had said before that you we are rat massers. He just proved us wrong. We thought it would be a challenge to fight Volkov in stoats, him being a self-proclaimed "Stoat masser". Oh well. One will have that...
 ROME does not rely on one strat. We are generally well spread. Thinking something like that is not a smart thing to do. It's my advice to you all that you think about what you are saying and not let others get overtaken due to too much confidence in their attacks. You have seen in other "Eras" how quickly people can change strats. Wolf Bite makes that look easy in his Strategy Guide.
General Discussion / What is UP with Rome?!
 It's to my reasoning that Menatus is Second Solution. She masses weasels, and she tried to attack me with weasels...Good thing you've given yourself away.
 They are expensive, and useless. Only if you are very rich in land and troops should you indulge in one. You can steal them via leaders easily, too...
 All I have to say is that it's all part of the game...Remember, it is a game.
 Dilf. You are not the brightest person I'll have the pleasure of meeting today, are you? The limit will sort of fix that, and what's to say they just don't do it if you don't have a limit? Think about it. Trying to prove a point and you argue for the other side. Good job.
 I am relatively sure that Marcus Aurelius knows some latin, but I'm not positive.
 While playing other promisance games, I have realized that the only way to stop these people from massing food (Save dropping it to an ULTRA-LOW worth) is to put a food ceiling on the game, saying people can only have one billion food or so max. If you are playing the game as it is meant ot be played, why would you need more than a billion food, anyhow? I mean, I know in some games people get to point where they have hundreds of millions of troops, but that just means build some more foragers to barely keep the economy in the green. Just an opinion of a lonely Roman Emperor.
 Weasel -
Our clan crier is merely an extension of our diplomatic statuses. We wish to give reasons why things will happen that may anger clans when they do, just to say we've given them fair warning.
QuoteNero's nice, but Flamius seems like a hothead... maybe it's because they only managed to lower Wolf Bite 1 rank when they tried to kill him...
What are you talking about? We don't have a Flamius.
