Hello, cal! It's good to see you again!! What a wonderful surprise to reconnect after 15 years. I'm currently married and working as an Academic Advisor at a small community college in Virginia. I have two master's degrees in theater and hope to teach someday, but biding my time running the theater club at the college. Glad to see you're still writing! You were always quite good at that.

Ooooh what did you specialize in in theater? I got a BFA in stage management before I started writing... the hours at the Alley suuuuucked o.O;

My husband got me into Fallen London, which is similar enough to have made me nostalgic. Plus, I'm playing WoW again and I need something to bounce back and forth to on my 2nd monitor. :D

Yep! And actually now a professional writer, so there's that. lol My snark as a teenager had a purpose. (It makes me super happy that RWL runs on a cPanel backend, btw. I wrote half the text in it.)

No, but they may be the only ones with the perseverance. Who on earth wakes up one morning and says, hey, yknow what would be great for breakfast? Deep fried White Castle Burger, and deep fried slice of cheesecake for dessert!


Seriously though, fried pickles are delicious. You just have to get them dry enough before you batter them, so that the batter sticks right. The bf and I do them in skinny wedges with  cornmeal batter, supertasty. Add some jalapeno ranch dipping sauce... nomnomnomnom

The scene in Houston/Austin is great.

You could at least trim it a bit. Manscaping is for the face, too.
