Kilk...I gave up on this game a few months ago when I decided I was tired of building 100% hut and not being good enough at math to get anywhere...and then this happens...my favorite game of all time just might become something I could enjoy again! I love building economies! I love workers! I love COMMUNISM!!!!

YOU ARE INCREDIBLE. (and by "you" I mean Kilk and all the others devs who have worked on this rip-roaring stunner of a project)

Reg Discussion / Re: Emperor..

Ok, I'm not trying to rile anybody up, and thank you Wolf Snare for responding to my post- my main question to be addressed though, was why old topics are considered spamming. I don't play reg, so I don't know if he wasn't even close to emperorship- I'm assuming he is which might be the cause of this confusion.

Wait....why is it bad to bring up old topics without a "good" reason? And what makes it good or bad? He was talking about becoming emperor again...relevant to the topic, I'm sure, and better than "i like mushrooms." I understand the point of not spamming, but I don't really see why old topics are bad topics.

Where did it all go? Is this what they call "land spreading"? I could have sworn I saw someone with 40k acres the other day...now nearly everyone has 11k, with nobody breaking the 20k barrier. We've got three land farms...idk, it's surprising...

General Discussion / Thank you Shael!

I just thought shael deserved a little round of applause. She's done an excellent job coding this turbo round, and adminning the boards, and keeping this game up and running really well. It must get old having to admin week after week with little recognition and things like that. Sooo...

THANKS SHAEL!!!

...and Wolf Bite and Peace too =)

Who do you want to win? Who looks the most skilled team? Which one will drop like a ton of bricks?

I'm thinking Turkey goes to the drop, Russia will be a surprise world-beater, and the Netherlands to crush all in their path. Comments welcome.

idk what the whole argument is about...but checkerpaw is twigging awesome. I wouldn't diss him like that, even if he is playing around. He just might hack your computer...or amaze you with his bo-staff skills =)

lol, good point...perhaps unneeded kills doesn't keep a whole lot of friends. You've got to admit, it's pretty fun though. Both our clans have enjoyed the thrill, you've got to admit. In actuality, I caught you at about 400 acres...Juskabally took most of your land, and told me he was going to finish you off the next morning if I hadn't. Looks like you've made more than just one enemy this round...=/

Yeehaw, Thomas! Way to add to everyone's prejudice against evangelicals!! No, no, wait!! I'll tell them that they should all smear pig's blood on their firstborn! And whoever doesn't do that can't be in MY clan!!

Yes, evangelicals believe that homosexuality is a sin. But this sin is no worse than cheating someone in a deal, or taking God's name in vain- evangelicals just blow it up into this huge thing because it's a political rallying cry, IMO. My mother has worked with helping people who want to get out of the gay lifestyle at my old church, and I know it's not something as simple as "choice". I believe that through God's healing power it can change, and has changed people. But I know that alot of this stuff is based on a faith in a Christian God that most of you don't subscribe to, so this reasoning is impossible to justify in a forum like this. I will not respond to any flames, or comments on this because I'm not trying to justify Tom's position, or the position of the evangelicals. I'm trying to show that while we view it as a sin, we care about the people, we don't judge them, and we understand that it's not as simple as a "Oh, I think I'll stop now" moment.

..-sigh-..you guys do realize that saying thing like "god-damne evangelical friends" is just as bad as thomas saying "god-damne gay friends"?
