You never know what a bunch like SD might have up their sleeves. I'd like to see them take the top again. Then, I'd like to see a horde of newbies overwhelm all those who have had any experience. While I am serious, I do think this would require some artificial intervention. Too bad my irl recruiting campaigns don't work.

they all attack me at the same time about 15 times each within a hour, they all are in different clans, and their numbers are within 3 of each other.

Well, I know Urran wouldn't use multiple accounts. He's Captain of the Mossflower Navy (#176). He's used some funny tactics before, funny as in inexplicably brutal, but he would never risk being a multi. As for clan, was he in Good or KOI at the time? KOI has not been to war this round yet.

If it was absolutely necessary, and the ads were something at the bottom instead of the top, we'd click it once a week or so. I just don't want someone putting up ads just for the sake of doing so.

 Sure, it'd make Retto and them a few bucks richer every month, but I seriously doubt it'll do anything good for the member base. I wouldn't be surprised if half the RWL-ers left. It's one of those "10 steps to self-destruction."

If done properly, advertising can be a gold mine, but has it ever been done properly? I think not.

Land farms should only exist in a location inaccesible to everyone, so you'd have to prepare raiders to access them.

Clans, smaller so newbie clans from Reg will join in.

Oh, and message EVERYONE in Reg to promote newer players in Turbo.
